Our Story
PrepSeven was founded with a clear purpose: to make high-quality IB education accessible to students across Australia and around the world.
Over the years, we noticed a common challenge faced by many International Baccalaureate students. Despite investing countless hours into studying, many struggled to achieve the results they were capable of because they lacked guidance from educators who truly understood the IB curriculum and assessment system. The gap wasn’t effort—it was strategy, mentorship, and expert insight.
Recognising this need, PrepSeven was created as a specialised academic support platform dedicated exclusively to IB students. Rather than offering generic tutoring, we built a network of experienced IB educators and examiners who understand exactly how students are assessed and what it takes to excel in one of the world’s most demanding academic programmes.
What began as a commitment to helping a small group of students improve their academic outcomes has evolved into a trusted lear.
Meet Our Founder – Mr. Shankar Mutneja
An alumnus of The Doon School, Dehradun, and a Computer Science graduate, Shankar Mutneja founded PrepSeven with a clear vision—to make high-quality IB education accessible to students across the globe.
Having worked closely with students, parents, and educators from leading International Baccalaureate schools worldwide, Shankar recognized that many students needed more than traditional tutoring. They needed personalized mentorship, strategic academic guidance, and teachers who truly understood the demands of the IB curriculum.
This insight became the foundation of PrepSeven.
Under his leadership, PrepSeven has grown into a dedicated IB learning platform that connects students with experienced educators specializing in every aspect of the IB journey—from subject tutoring and exam preparation to Internal Assessments (IA), Extended Essays (EE), and Theory of Knowledge (TOK).
